Food

Eat good. Keep moving.

A food section for actual life: where to eat, what to cook, what to pour, and what to make when you have twenty minutes and zero interest in washing nine pans.

No food snobbery required.

Good can mean a chef counter, a neighborhood carryout, or something you made before the next Zoom call.

Crispy Black Bean Tacos

Black beans, shredded cheese, tortillas, salsa, lime. Crisp them in a skillet and dinner is handled.

  • Mash beans with salsa and a pinch of cumin.
  • Fill tortillas with beans and cheese.
  • Toast both sides in a lightly oiled skillet.
  • Finish with lime, hot sauce, avocado, or whatever is already in the fridge.

Cheap, fast, and easy to scale when somebody suddenly says they are hungry too.

  • 2 parts ginger beer
  • 1 part sparkling water
  • Juice of half a lime
